Web Elegance is a web design and development company, where we use cutting edge technology to provide website and web applications design and development services, search engine optimisation services, digital marketing and graphic design services, e-commerce and other software solutions to our customers.

The privacy policy developed in this document applies to Web Elegance business.

Web Elegance respects privacy rights of our customers, we recognise and respect the trust you place on us when you provide your personal information and details to us.

Web Elegance Privacy Policy is developed and implemented in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth.) and complies with Australian Privacy Principles.

Collection of personal information and the purpose

Web Elegance has an open and transparent process for the collection of your personal or business information.

Web Elegance will notify you or your company of what personal/business information we require from you/your company and how the information will be dealt with.

The personal information or the information related to your business that Web Elegance collects from you is relevant to the specific business services you request from us. We require this information in order to provide you with the best possible services on our behalf and complete the job your request from us.

The information we collect from you may include your personal details (such as name, contact address, phone number or mobile phone number, email address), you business company details (including, name, logo, business address, business phone number), financial details in order to process the payment for the work we do for you or your company (such as credit card details or bank account details).

If, under certain circumstances Web Elegance receives unsolicited personal information about you or your business, Web Elegance will within a reasonable period after receiving the information, determine whether or not we could have collected the information under Australian Privacy law if we had solicited the information. If we could have collected the personal information, we will ensure that this Privacy Policy is complied with in relation to that information and will notify you of details.

Your right to remain anonymous

You have a right to remain anonymous and you have no obligation to provide your personal or your business company information to us, however we may not be able to work with you or your company and provide you with our services if we do not have the relevant information to work with.

Use and disclosure of personal information

The information you share with us is used for the purpose of identifying you and your business and providing services to you or your company. Within Web Elegance some of the information about your company may be used for research and statistics in order to provide you with better services.

In addition, Web Elegance may use your information in one of the following ways:

  • To improve our website and your personal experience (we continuously strive to improve our website based on the information and feedback we receive from you).
  • To send periodic emails. The email address that you provide to Web Elegance may be used to send you information or updates concerning the project or services you have requested from us. Web Elegance may also send you occasional news, updates or services information etc.

Web Elegance generally does not disclose our customers information to third parties (this includes international third parties), including direct marketing purposes, without notifying our customers and/or asking for their permission. If you would like to access any of your personal information that we hold or if you wish to update or correct your information please contact us. However for privacy and security reasons you will have to identify yourself and prove your identity in order to do so.

Web Elegance will take all the reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, disclosure, alternation and unauthorised access. If we no longer need your personal/business company information for any purposes we will take secure steps to destroy your information or ensure the information is de-identified.

Web Elegance has processes and procedures in place to ensure our Privacy Policy complies with current Australian Privacy Law and is up-to-date.
