Testing and validation of the developed system against the following criteria is the most important part of Quality Assurance: Privacy, Copyright, Security and Encryption, Restricted Content and Accessibility Standards.

W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) develops the technical specifications and guidelines through a process designed to maximise consensus about the content of a technical report, to ensure high technical and editorial quality, and to earn endorsement by W3C and the broader community.

Technical requirements testing
Technical requirements testing ensures the system developed is compatible with the variety of operating systems, variety of devices and across multiple browsers.

Functionality testing
Functionality testing ensures the system developed, including all it's functions, is thoroughly evaluated and validated and is fully functional.

Usability testing
Usability testing evaluates how comprehensible and distinct the system is for the users, how easy it is to navigate through the system, how visible and clear the functions are. This testing evaluates overall look and feel of the website and it's suitability for the target audience.

This step covers areas such as spell check, media check, design evaluation, etc.

Client Acceptance testing
This is an important step in the development process. Client acceptance testing is considered to be the final stage of validation. This is the time to see that the system being tested meets the client's and user's needs and provides confidence in its use.
